Life Transition
High school and college are so different, and the changes challenge me to work harder every day. One big change that has occurred is my amount of homework. In high school, I barely had any homework at night. I did all of my work while I was at school. Now, in college, I have homework to do every night. My English teacher always makes us write and type our paragraphs for class every Tuesday and Thursday. Not only has the homework gotten harder, but my friends have also changed. In high school, I knew everyone at school because I only graduated with 50 people. Now, I go to college with thousands of new people. I am still trying to make friends. Even though making friends has been hard, my grades have gotten better. I did not try hard in high school, so my grades were bad. In college, however, I study every day, and I make A’s and B’s in my classes. The transition from high school to college has been tough but fun.
